PCB readies COVID-19 protocols for PSL 2022

LAHORE: In a bid to make sure that all of the matches of the upcoming season 7 of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) are held as per the schedule amid the fifth wave of the COVID-19 pandemic within the nation, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has determined in precept to permit every group to have most 20 gamers for the league, stated well-placed sources.

In order to make sure the continuation of the league, it’s instructed that 25 to 30 further gamers must be stored within the bio-secure bubble on the resort.

Under the SOPs, most two groups will travel in a single constitution flight at a time.

Each group will choose two extra gamers within the supplementary draft on Thursday and Friday, the sources added. South African gamers will probably be obtainable for the complete match, the sources added. 

PCB Chairman Ramiz Raja opinions preparations in Karachi

A day earlier, PCB Chairman Ramiz Raja had presided over a high-level assembly to overview preparations for the upcoming season of the PSL.

The first section of PSL-7 is scheduled to start out from January 27 in Karachi.

High-ranking officers of the Sindh authorities, district administration, police and the National Stadium have been current within the assembly.
