Delhi Chalo March, farmers’ movement in India once again mobilized, the struggle of farmers of Haryana and Punjab for their rights intensified, after the failure of negotiations between the farmers’ unions and the government, the Delhi Chalo Movement of Punjab and Haryana farmers from December 6. Started again.
The ‘Delhi Chalo March’ is being organized by Kisan Mazdoor Morcha and Kisan Yekahti Morcha, after the BJP’s resistance in Haryana, farmers have decided to walk to Delhi in small jathas instead of tractors.
In view of the farmers’ ‘Delhi Chalo’ march, tight security measures have been taken at the borders of the capital and the entire adjoining region.
According to farmer leader Sarvan Singh Pandhar, the Modi government is ignoring the legitimate demands of farmers, even though they have been protesting on the streets for the past 10 months.
“We decided to resume the protest and informed the Haryana police that our march will be peaceful,” he said.
Farmer leader Saron Singh Pandhar says that Minister of State for Railways Ravint Singh Butto and Haryana Agriculture Minister have given instructions to farmers to walk to Delhi, time has come for them to fulfill their promises. If permission is not given, there will be a clash.
