Pentagon on lockdown after gunshots fired near bus station

The Pentagon was on lockdown Tuesday morning after a number of gunshots had been fired near a platform by the power’s Metro station, worldwide information businesses reported.

The incident occurred on a Metro bus platform that’s a part of the Pentagon Transit Center, the Pentagon Protection Force Protection Agency tweeted.

A Pentagon announcement stated the power was on lockdown as a result of “police activity”. Metro subway trains had been ordered to bypass the Pentagon as a result of a police investigation.

This will likely be up to date…
