Peshawar:
Alam Din was killed along with his young son in the murderous attack in Board Bazaar of Pashta Khura police station while the other sons were injured.
According to Pashta Khara police station, religious scholar Ezzatullah Ezzatullah was going home in a car along with his two sons after performing Friday prayers in a madrasa located in Sefid Dheri, when motorcycle-riding people opened fire on them in Bord Bazar.
The police said that as a result of the firing, Qari Izzatullah resident of Phase 2 and his son Ali died while the other son Murtaza was injured.
According to the police, panic had spread in the area due to indiscriminate firing by motorcyclists.
SP Cantt Ehtraz Khan reached the spot along with the police force from where important evidences have been collected and a case has been registered against unknown persons after obtaining the recording of the CCTV cameras installed in the nearby areas.
He said that investigation has been started on various aspects of the incident including target killing.
