PESHAWAR: business community rejects a thousand fixed tax on mines and minerals bills and electricity bills

Peshawar:

The business community rejected a thousand fixed tax on the Mines and Minerals Bill and the Electric Bills.

Atif Ikram Sheikh, president of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry, was chaired by Zoom meeting of all Regional Offices of Pakistan, in which Executive Member from the Peshawar Regional Office, Shahzad Ahmed Siddiqui, addressed the business community and chambers of his province.

Shahzad Ahmed Siddiqui demanded that the bill that was introduced by the federal government regarding the Mines and Minerals was rejected by the province’s business community as equivalent to putting on the right of its province, so the federation should also play its role by rejecting the bill.

The rights of small businessmen cannot be ignored, so the NEPRA imposed 1000 fixed tax on electricity bills should be abolished. The FBR also rejects the FBR’s authority through the Presidential Ordinance.

The reasons for the lack of funds and the delay of construction work in the construction of the Peshawar Regional Office Federation should be resolved immediately. The meeting also discussed in detail the steps and other issues for the country’s economic stability and other issues.
