Swabi:
One person was killed and one was seriously injured in a horrific accident on the Peshawar-Islamabad motorway at Colonel Sher Khan Interchange.
Rescue sources said that as soon as the accident was reported, the medical team and motorway police of Rescue 1122 reached the spot and was shifted to a nearby hospital while providing medical help to the injured while the body of the deceased was shifted to the hospital after necessary action.
Immediately after the accident, a fire broke out in a car, which made the situation worse. However, Rescue 1122’s firefighter team took control of the fire, which saved further damage.
Rescue 1122 Swabi medical team, motorway police and firefighters team participated in the emergency response. Investigations are underway to ascertain the cause of the accident.
