A plane has crashed in the central area of the touristic southern Brazilian city of Grimado, killing all 10 people on board.
According to the Reuters news agency, Brazil’s civil defense officials said that 10 people were on board the plane that crashed, and according to initial reports, all of them have died.
Provincial Governor Ediardo Leyte said in a statement on social media that initial reports indicate that unfortunately none of the people on board the plane survived.
According to the public security office of the state of Rio de Grande do Sul, 15 people have been transferred to the city’s hospital, most of them suffering from smoke inhalation from the fire caused by the crash.
Officials said that after the plane hit the building, it crashed into a store of furniture and the debris spread to nearby areas.
