PM Modi US Visit: Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi is in the US for his 2 -day visit, where he met President Trump at the White House on the night of Thursday (13 February). In this conversation, serious issues like tariff, F-35 fighter jet deal, and terrorism were discussed. After Donald Trump became President, PM Modi is the fourth foreign leader who has met him.

President Trump described PM Modi as his friend and said that he is doing a good job. He said that PM Modi is a better negotiator than me. Apart from this, he said that there is a beautiful country in India, where I traveled 5 years ago. It indicates a close relationship between Trump and Modi, which will help further strengthen bilateral relations.

F-35 Fighter Jet announced
During this meeting, Trump announced a F-35 fighter jet to India, which is a big step towards increasing India’s military strength. This deal can add a new chapter to the Indo-US defense partnership.
