After Kamil Majchrzak’s thrilling five-set victory over Karen Khachanov, the tennis player removed his cap and gestured towards a young fan named Brock. What should have been a lifelong memory turned sour when Szczerek, owner of asphalt firm Drogbruk, quickly seized the hat and placed it in his wife’s bag. The boy shouted “What are you doing?” as onlookers expressed shock.
Footage spread rapidly online, with critics branding Szczerek the “most hated man on the internet.” Despite removing his social media accounts, the millionaire doubled down in a statement.

Majchrzak later sought to ease tensions, tracking down Brock and gifting him several replacement caps, reassuring him with the words “All good now.”
