Islamabad: In the National Assembly session, the opposition and the allies of the government attacked the government for the absence of the ministers and for not giving correct answers to the questions.
PPP and MQM took over the government. A few PPP members also walked out of the House in protest.
Deputy Speaker Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah announced to write a letter of complaint to the Prime Minister against the absence of ministers.
The National Assembly meeting was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Speaker Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah, not only the opposition leader Umar Ayub but also the government members raised the issue of the absence of ministers. The opposition leader termed the absence of the ministers as the government’s lack of seriousness.
PPP members Syed Naveed Qamar, Agha Rafiullah, Shazia Murri, Sharmila Farooqui said that this House has been made a joke.
Parliamentary Affairs Minister Azam Nazir Tarar said that ministers do not come to the House due to any compulsion.
PPP members Agha Rafiullah and a few other members walked out of the House after Parliamentary Secretary Saad Waseem did not answer the question about increasing the salaries of FBR officers and buying new vehicles. Jakharani brought the feast.
MQM member Mustafa Kamal and PPP member Shazia Murri took a joint stand against the dilapidated condition of the Sukkur-Hyderabad Motorway and said that the ribbon has been cut while it is not a standard highway.
In the National Assembly session, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Azam Nazir Tarar ridiculed the opposition and said that thankfully, they are talking in the House after leaving the Lashkar Kush.
