Famous Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan has revealed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave a special autograph for her sons Taimur and Jahangir. The meeting took place on the occasion of Raj Kapoor’s 100th birthday celebrations.
The Kapoor family, which included Kareena Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Alia Bhatt, Neetu Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor and others, met the Prime Minister in New Delhi on Tuesday.
Kareena shared pictures of the meeting on Instagram, including a note that Modi wrote to Taimur and Jha. The Kapoor family invited the Prime Minister to attend the Raj Kapoor Film Festival, which is being celebrated as part of the centenary celebrations of the great actor and filmmaker.
The film festival will be held from December 13 to 15 and will screen 10 of Raj Kapoor’s most popular films such as Aawara, Barsaat, and Shri 420. These films will be screened in 135 theaters in 40 cities.
In her post, Kareena thanked the Prime Minister and wrote, “This is an extraordinary moment for our family. We are honored to be with Prime Minister Narendra Modi to commemorate our grandfather’s life and legacy. “
He added that the family is proud to present Raj Kapoor’s iconic films through the festival and pay tribute to his unforgettable work.
