Prime Minister Modi will reach Paris on 10 February and will have dinner at Alice Palace with President Emmanuel Macron on that day. This dinner will also include CEOs of many big technical companies. The next day, on February 11, PM Modi and President Macron will co-chant the AI (Artificial Intelligence) Action Summit. Many important announcements are expected in this summit. PM Modi will also address the India-France CEO Forum, which will further strengthen trade and technical cooperation between the two countries.
Prime Minister Modi’s visit to America
On February 12, Prime Minister Modi will go to America, where he will hold bilateral talks with Donald Trump. During this visit, PM Modi will also meet American Business Leaders and members of the Indian community. This tour is taking place at a time when the US has recently sent 104 illegal Indian migrants. This will be the eighth meeting of Modi and Trump. His first meeting was held on 26 June 2017 in Washington, while the seventh meeting was held on 24-25 February 2020 in Ahmedabad.
India’s relations with America
Discussion on trade and defense cooperation between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Donald Trump will be important. There will be extensive discussion on commercial issues between the two countries later, although the discussion on defense cooperation will strengthen the relationship between the two countries. The US has demanded to buy American -made security equipment to maintain fair trade relations with India. Trump has pressured India to buy more security equipment from America. However, Trump has also praised Prime Minister Modi on several occasions, which hopes that there can be a favorable trade agreement between the two countries.
