Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif will visit Central Asia next week.
According to the Foreign Office spokesman, Shahbaz Sharif’s visit to Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan has been completed. Shahbaz Sharif will visit Azerbaijan on February 24, he will visit Uzbekistan on 25th and 26th.
During the visits to Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan, Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on energy, defense, mutual attachment, transportation, trade and investment is expected.
During the visit to Azerbaijan, $ 2 billion is expected to sign trade and investment agreements, Prime Minister Azerbaijan will also meet with businessmen and heads of companies in Baku.
Azerbaijan will meet with the Prime Minister’s President Alham Ulivo and Azerbaijani leadership. During a visit to Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan, there will be important talks on the Trans -Afghan Railway Corridor.
The plan will discuss Central Asia’s connection with South Asia through railway. Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif’s visit to Uzbekistan is expected to meet with Uzbek President Shaukat Mirzivo and Prime Minister Abdullah Aripov.
