PSL 10: Islamabad United decides to bat against Peshawar Zalmi

Peshawar Zalmi defeated Islamabad United by 6 wickets in HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10.

In the 22nd match of the event played at Gaddafi Stadium, Peshawar Zalmi scored a target of 144 runs in the 17th over with a loss of 4 wickets.

Zalmi’s Siddiqat was the leading scorer with 55 runs. Captain Babar Azam returned not out pavilion with 53 runs.

Mohammad Haris scored 13, Mitchell Owen 6 and Saim Ayub 1 run.

Max Bright remained unbeaten on 4 runs.

United Naseem Shah, Ben Dwarfis, Royley Medath and Kyle Mares took 1, 1 wicket.

Earlier, Islamabad United won the toss and batted first and scored 143 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs.

Sir Farhan, from United, scored 36 runs. Ben Dwarshvis returned not out pavilion with 33 runs.

Kyle Mayers 18, Captain Shadab Khan 15, Colin Monroe 11, Emad Wasim 10, Azam Khan 8, Salman Agha 4, Naseem Shah 1 and Saad Masood 1 were dismissed for 1 runs.

Zalmi took 3 wickets while Mohammed Ali took 3 wickets while Lukewood, Hussein Talat, Alzari Joseph, Ahmed Daniyal and Saim Ayub took 1 wicket.
