LAHORE: Former England captain-turned-commentator David Gower will probably be amongst a bunch of international commentators that will probably be a part of the Pakistan Super League’s commentary panel for the match that can kick off this week.
The commentary panel for the month-long occasion that begins on the National Stadium Karachi on Saturday, 20 February, was unveiled in the present day by the PCB.
“Pakistani commentators synonymous with the league including Bazid Khan, Ramiz Raja, Sana Mir and Urooj Mumtaz will be doing bi-lingual commentary while renowned Urdu commentator Tariq Saeed and Sikandar Bakht will be part of the panel as Urdu commentators,” stated the press launch.
Apart from Gower different international commentators to affix the league are Simon Doull, Pommie Mbangwa, JP Duminy, Danny Morrison, Dominic Cork, and Alan Wilkins.
However, the previous England captain and Danny Morrision will solely be a part of the commentary panel for the Karachi leg of the match.
Gower is not going to be the one one showing as a commentator for the primary time. It may even be a primary for Simon Doull and former South African all-rounder JP Duminy. The PCB stated that Duminy and Mbangwa will be a part of the commentary field for the second leg in Lahore.
The PCB stated that the match will probably be produced in Full HD mode by the consortium of Blitz Advertising/Transgroup & NEP.
“The HBL PSL 6 will be produced with a 30 + camera setup, the production will be Full HD, while the majority of the lenses will be 4K for extra sharpness of the pictures,” stated the press launch.
The setup consists of tremendous gradual movement cameras, ultra-motion, Spidercam with ‘Parvàz’, Hawkeye with all DRS enhancements, buggy-cam with participant interview functionality and drone digicam amongst others, the assertion added.
