Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Senator Ijaz Ahmed Chaudhry issued production orders.
Chairman Senate Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani issued the production orders of Senator Ejaz Ahmed Chaudhry.
Senator Ejaz Ahmed Chaudhry will attend the Senate meeting tomorrow.
It may be recalled that the letter for the production order of Senator Ejaz Chaudhry was submitted to the Senate Secretariat last month.
Ejaz Chaudhry, in a letter submitted by his lawyer Babar Awan, asked the Chairman Senate to issue a production order.
It was stated in the letter that Ejaz Chaudhry is a member of the Senate who has not been present in any session for one and a half years.
It may be remembered that Ejaz Chaudhry was arrested on May 9, 2023 in Jhalao Gherao cases. After the arrest of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf founder Imran Khan from the premises of the Islamabad High Court in the Al-Qadir Trust case on May 9, nationwide protests were held by the PTI, during which military, civil and private installations were set on fire. , public and private properties were severely damaged while at least 8 people were killed and 290 injured.
Protesters also stormed the Corps Commander’s residence in Lahore, also known as Jinnah House, and broke a gate of the General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi.
After that, 1900 people involved in fighting, vandalism and arson were arrested across the country while cases were registered against Imran Khan and his party workers.
