Punjab authorities points new COVID-19 SOPs amid altering scenario in province

LAHORE:  Considering the dynamics of the COVID-19 scenario in Punjab, the provincial authorities on Sunday issued new directives associated to the coronavirus Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

An official notification on this regard, duly authorised by the chief minister of Punjab, was issued by the Punjab Secretary of Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department Captain (R) Muhammad Usman.

According to the notification,  all residents must use a face masks when they’re out in confined public areas. 

Moreover, all private and non-private workplaces shall solely name 50 per cent of their staffers to work, whereas permitting the remaining 50 per cent to “Work from Home,” the notification mentioned.

The authorities additionally relaxed the rule of closing eating places’ outside eating by 10pm. Per the brand new notification, all eating places will now be allowed to proceed their outside eating companies after 10 pm as effectively.

“This order shall come into force immediately throughout the province and shall remain enforced until February 28, 2021, unless otherwise amended,” the notification concluded.
