Punjab authorities on Tuesday determined to reopen all faculties within the province from September 16.

Taking to his official Twitter deal with, Punjab Education Minister Murad Raas mentioned: “All public and private schools of Punjab to open on Thursday (September 16, 2021) with the staggered approach.”

The resolution has been taken after a gathering of the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC).

Raas, nonetheless, added that solely 50% of scholars can be allowed in faculties on any given day.

“Please follow COVID-19 SOPs issued by the government. Welcome back,” the minister wrote.

NCOC chief Asad Umar introduced right this moment that the federal government is reopening faculties in 5 districts of Punjab and one district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, from September 16, regardless of different restrictions in these districts remaining intact until September 30.

Earlier, maintaining in view prolonged restrictions in 24 high-risk districts amid the worsening scenario of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Punjab authorities had determined to shut all private and non-private faculties in Punjab until September 15 (Wednesday).
