The reason for this was considered to be Ram Charan’s new high octane action film Game Changer which earned Rs 51 crore in India on the very first day.
Apart from this, Sonu Sood’s Fateh was also released on January 10, which earned Rs 2.4 crore on the first day. After seeing all this, the picture became that Pushpa 2 would soon start moving towards weak earnings in cinema halls, but exactly the opposite happened. The growth seen in the earnings of Pushpa 2 seemed to overshadow Game Changer.
