Pushpa 2 Screening Stampede Case: A woman named Revathi lost her life in the stampede that broke out outside Sandhya Theater on December 4 during the screening of ‘Pushpa 2’. Along with this, an 8 year old son of that woman was also badly injured in this stampede. The child was admitted to the hospital where he is on ventilator support and is fighting for his life.
According to The Hindu, the hospital has given a statement in which it has been revealed that Revathi’s son Shri Teja is having intermittent fever. The statement issued on Saturday said, ‘The boy is still in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) on ventilator support with minimal needs. ,
8 year old innocent child consuming tube feeding
The statement further reads- ‘He is hemodynamically stable and is consuming tube feeding. However, he has intermittent fever, an altered sensorium and dystonic movements. Let us tell you that while Revati died of suffocation in the stampede outside Sandhya Theatre, Mr. Teja has also been admitted to the hospital due to suffocation. He is undergoing treatment at KIMS Cuddles Hospital in Secunderabad.
Allu Arjun was arrested in the case
Hyderabad Police had arrested actor Allu Arjun on 13 December in connection with the stampede that broke out outside Sandhya Theater on 4 December during the screening of ‘Pushpa 2’. However, Telangana High Court has released the actor on 14 days bail. Earlier, Allu Arjun had given Rs 25 lakh to help the victim’s family. Even after being released from jail, Allu Arjun claimed that he would help the victim’s family in every way.
