Ritwik Dhanjani was a victim of casting couch, narrated his ordeal, said – ‘I started crying in front of my friend’

Ritwik Dhanjani is not in need of any identity today. Today, through many years of hard work, he has created his own identity in the industry. But his journey was not easy. Recently, remembering his old days, the actor talked about his casting couch experience.

During a podcast, Ritwik Dhanjani remembered his struggling phase. The actor told that this accident happened to him at the age of 20. He went to Aram Nagar where auditions were held. One day when he was standing in a long queue, the casting director told him that he had been selected and there was no limit to his happiness after hearing this. But when he asked the person about his office, the person himself asked the actor how he should come for the audition.

Ritwik Dhanjani narrated his story
Ritwik Dhanjani told that when he arrived by bike, that person also sat on his bike and took Ritwik with him. The actor further said- ‘I should have understood then that something was wrong because it is really a matter of concern for such a big personality not to have a car.’ Ritwik Dhanjani told that on the way the person started telling the actor that he had cast big celebs. Similarly, he took the actor to narrow streets.

‘He started touching me dirty…’
The actor told in the podcast that he kept thinking throughout the way whether something wrong was happening to him. That person took the actor to a small room in the streets. Taking him to that room, the director asked him to show his projects. When Ritwik was showing him his projects in a CD, the man said that you are very hardworking but you have to do smart work and not hard work. After this the person started touching Ritwik in a dirty manner.

The actor told that he somehow escaped from there to save his life and went to his friend and cried a lot. He had even decided to leave the industry.
