According to the report of Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI), the sales of the world’s 100 largest arms companies have increased by 4.2 percent to $ 632 billion in the year 2023. At the same time, companies have been successful in increasing arms manufacturing from 2023. Arms sales are going to increase further
Lorenzo Scarzato, a researcher on military spending and arms production at SIPRI, said there was a significant increase in arms sales in 2023 and this is likely to continue in 2024. He further said that the sales of the world’s top 100 companies currently do not fully reflect the demand for weapons. Because many companies have started recruitment campaigns. This shows that arms sales are going to increase further in the future.

41 American arms manufacturing companies are included in the world’s top 100 arms manufacturing companies. American companies have registered a 2.5 percent increase in their sales last year. At the same time, according to the report, the arms sales of the two Russian groups in the ranking increased by 40 percent. Three Israeli companies are also included in this list with sales of $13.6 billion. There has been an increase of 24 percent in 3 Turkish companies.
