Russian physician who met Putin assessments optimistic for COVID-19


The physician who gave Russia’s President Vladimir Putin a tour on Moscow’s hospital treating Coronavirus sufferers has examined optimistic for Covid-19.

“Dear friends, I’m really touched by your concerns. Yes, I’ve tested positive for the CoV, but I feel quite well. I’ve self-isolated at my office where I have everything needed for remote work, control and video consultations,” Denis Protsenko,  chief physician at Kommunarka hospital wrote on Facebook on Tuesday.

The clinic’s chief welcomed Putin on March 24, and in accordance with TV footage and Reuters’ reportage, neither of two was sporting protecting tools through the dialog, whereas throughout his go to to the hospital, the Russian President wore a hazmat go well with and a respirator.

The announcement sparked fears that Putin may need contracted the virus, nevertheless, the Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, assured the media that this was not the case.
