Jaishankar and US NSA Meeting: India’s Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar is currently on his 6-day American tour. Where he is going to stay till 29th December. During his six-day US visit, Indian Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar is discussing bilateral, regional and many important global issues. The Foreign Minister met with US National Security Agency (NSA) chief Jake Sullivan at the White House today i.e. Friday (27 December). During this time S. Jaishankar and American NSA Jake Sullivan discussed the progress of India-US strategic partnership.

Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar gave information about the meeting with the American NSA on the social media platform X. He said, “Washington D.C. It was nice to meet Jake Sullivan, the head of America’s National Security Agency (NSA).

He further said, “Widely discussed the progress of strategic partnership between India and America with NSA. “Also exchanged views on current regional and global developments.”

The Indian Foreign Ministry said that during his US visit, Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar will also chair a conference of India’s Consul General on bilateral, regional and global issues in the United States. Apart from this, the Foreign Minister is scheduled to meet with his American counterpart Antony Blinken and other senior members of the outgoing Biden administration.

It is noteworthy that this visit of Jaishankar is taking place after Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to America in September and participation in the fourth Quad Leaders Summit.

The meeting held before Donald Trump became President has many meanings.
