According to Indian media reports, a new twist has emerged in the murder case of politician Baba Siddiqui.
During the police investigation, a shooter revealed that the original target was Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, but due to his tight security, the plan had to be changed and Baba Siddiqui was targeted.
On October 12, former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddiqui was murdered outside the office of his son MLA Zeeshan Siddiqui in Bandra East. During investigation, accused Shiv Kumar said that 9 mm pistol was used for the murder and the killing was done on the orders of Anmul Bishnoi, brother of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi.
According to Shiv Kumar, Anmol Bishnoi’s orders were received through Shubham Lonkar, a close associate of the gang.
The rivalry between Lawrence Bishnoi and Salman Khan dates back to the 1998 poaching of a rare blackbuck in Rajasthan. Since this incident, Salman Khan has been receiving constant threats.
In 2018, a Jodhpur court sentenced Salman Khan to 5 years in prison in the case, but he was granted bail. However, since then the Bishnoi gang has been constantly active against Salman Khan.
