Sankranthiki Vasthunam BO Collection Day 2: Venkatesh Daggubati’s film ‘Sankrantiki Vasthoonam’ has been released in theaters on January 14 on the occasion of Makar Sankranti. This film, released in Telugu, managed to have a great opening in theatres. With the first day collection, ‘Sankranti Vasthoonam’ has proved to be the biggest opener of Venkatesh’s career. Now on the second day also the film is earning well.
According to the report of SACNILC, ‘Sankranti Vasthoonam’ had a great opening of Rs 23 crore on the first day. Now on the second day the film continues to dominate the box office. ‘Sankranti Vasthoonam’ has done a business of Rs 14.49 crore so far on the second day (Wednesday). With this, the film has earned a total of Rs 37.49 crore in two days.
Defeated ‘Daku Maharaj’ and ‘Game Changer’
Nandamuri Balakrishna’s film ‘Daku Maharaj’ was released two days before ‘Sankranti Vasthoonam’ (on January 12). This film is also making huge profits at the box office. The film earned Rs 25.35 crore on the first day and Rs 12.8 crore on the second day. But the collection of the film decreased on the day of release and it earned Rs 12.25 crore. ‘Game Changer’ had earned only Rs 10 crore on Makar Sankranti, whereas on Wednesday also Ram Charan’s film has earned only Rs 3.88 crore.
‘Sankranti Vasthoonam’ is also famous worldwide. On the first day, the film did a business of Rs 35 crore at the worldwide box office.

The film ‘Sankranti Vasthoonam’ has been directed by Anil Ravipudi under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations. This film has come on screen only in Telugu and in it Venkatesh Daggubati, Aishwarya Rajesh and Meenakshi Choudhary are seen in lead roles.
