Former national team and Gladiators captain Sarfraz Ahmed was not included by any franchise in the draft of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10.
The PSL Season 10 Players’ Draft ceremony was held at the Shahi Fort where six franchises selected their star-studded squads.
All the franchises included players in the Platinum, Diamond, Gold and Silver categories in their squad besides players were also selected in the Emerging category.
Sarfraz Ahmed, the former captain of the national cricket team and Quetta Gladiators, was not picked by any team, including his old franchise.
A day ago, Sarfaraz Ahmed announced to end his 9-year journey with Quetta Gladiators and thanked the team owner, management for giving him the opportunity.
Sources had said that the owner of Gladiators has decided to give Sarfraz Ahmed an important role, but after the completion of the drafting, it became clear that he was not selected by any team and he was out of the PSL.
