The Haj and Umra Ministry of Saudi Arabia says that in 2025 the same people will be given priority, who have come to perform Haj for the first time. The ban on children has also been imposed for the reason that they can be saved from the troubles caused by the crowd. Registrations have been started for Haj 2025.
Registration can be done through NUSUK APP
Saudi Arabian citizens and the Nusuk app living there can register themselves through the official online portal. Applicants will have to verify their information and also have to register with them.
Which countries will affect
The new visa rules of Saudi Arabia will affect countries on Algeria, Bangladesh, Egypt, Ethiopia, India, Indonesia, Iraq, Jordan, Morocco, Nigeria, Pakistan, Sudan, Tunisia and Yemen.
The government of Saudi Arabia has suspended one year multiple entry visa for tourism, trade and family visits with these countries indefinitely. Under the new rules, people of these countries can only apply for single entry visa, which will be valid for 30 days.
Saudi Arabia keeps changing its rules regarding Haj and Umrah. In 2024, Saudi Arabia advised people to escape from photography due to gathering near the Great Grand Mosque during Umrah. The Ministry had asked to avoid taking photography near the Great Grand Mosque for a long time without permission.
