
Chairman PCB Mohsin Naqvi says that under the patronage of Saudi leadership, the kingdom has created a new history by hosting major international tournaments.
According to the details, Chairman PCB Mohsin Naqvi had an important meeting with Saudi Arabia’s Sports Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal in Riyadh.
In the meeting, a detailed discussion was held on the promotion of cricket in Saudi Arabia, involvement of youth in positive activities through sports and strengthening of cooperation in sports between the two countries.
Mohsin Naqvi said that Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal is advancing the sports sector in an extraordinary manner under Vision 2030.
Chairman PCB especially congratulated the Saudi Sports Minister for winning the hosting of EFC Asian Cup 2027, Asian Winter Games 2029, Asian Games 2034 and FIFA World Cup 2034.
He further said that new opportunities can be created for the youth of both countries through the development of cricket infrastructure in Saudi Arabia, joint training programs, mutual tours and junior and youth level tournaments.

Mohsin Naqvi said that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia will make sports, especially cricket, a strong bridge of friendship and regional harmony.
In the meeting, it was agreed that the relevant institutions of the two countries will intensify the contacts and joint initiatives will be finalized soon through practical planning to provide maximum positive opportunities to the youth.
