Saudi Arabia has said that it is determined to do everything possible to avoid chaos in the country and the region after the ouster of President Bashar al-Assad.
According to the World News Agency, the Saudi official says that Syria’s neighboring countries, especially Turkey, are negotiating with other parties.
He further said that Saudi Arabia has no knowledge about Bashar al-Assad. Where are they now? Heard the news of his departure in the plane.
The statement said that the reason for Bashar al-Assad’s failure is not to include the opposition parties and other stakeholders in the political and reconciliation process.
He said that the Turkish government tried to negotiate and coordinate with Bashar al-Assad’s government, but these efforts were rejected.
The Saudi official said in his statement that we feared that the results of avoiding constructive talks with the opposition and various stakeholders would not turn out well in favor of Syria.
According to the Saudi official, Bashar al-Assad was told not to ignore the seriousness of the current uncertain situation, but unfortunately, Syria did not take any meaningful action on it.
It should be remembered that Syrian President Bashar al-Assad met Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman at the Arab League summit.
