Security forces avert infiltration bid in Lower Dir

RAWALPINDI: The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated Monday that three terrorists have been killed after safety forces thwarted an infiltration try near the Pakistan-Afghanistan border in Lower Dir.

The ISPR, in an announcement, stated that the terrorists that have been killed throughout the change of fireplace have been recognized as Abid and Yousaf Khan — each residents of Swat — whereas Abdul Sattar was a resident of Mardan.

Furthermore, the army’s media wing stated that an enormous amount of weapons, ammunition, and grenades was recovered from the terrorists.

“These terrorists [were] involved in several target-killing incidents in Swat in 2019.”

The ISPR stated that the terrorists had deliberate on infiltrating and focusing on a number of “notables” in Pakistan, nonetheless, they have been well timed engaged and killed.
