Security forces killed eight Khawarij in two separate operations in different areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).

In a statement issued by the Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army (ISPR), it was said that the security forces conducted the first operation based on intelligence in Sararogha area of ​​South Waziristan.

He said that action was taken on the information about the presence of Khawarij in Sararogha.

During the operation, security forces targeted a Khawarij hideout, killing two terrorists, including key terrorist leader Khan Muhammad alias “Khuriya”, ISPR said.

According to ISPR, two terrorists have also been arrested, the dead terrorist, Khan Muhammad Khoria, was involved in several terrorist activities including target killing and extortion in the area.

The statement said that the government had fixed a reward of Rs 10 lakh for the arrest of the main terrorist who was killed.

ISPR said that the second operation was also carried out based on intelligence in the Lakki Marwat area where six Khawarij were killed by the security forces after a fierce exchange of fire.

According to the statement, the security forces are continuing clearance operations to eliminate the presence of other possible terrorists in the area.

ISPR said that the Pakistan Army is determined to root out the scourge of terrorism from the country.
