Senior journalist and former chairman of the Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) Absar Alam was shot in Islamabad on Tuesday. He survived the incident and is claimed by police to be in a steady situation.
The journalist, in a press release to police, mentioned an unidentified man shot him in the appropriate aspect of his abdomen and made a run for it.
The incident, in line with Alam, occurred in a park outdoors his home. According to police, the park is located in Islamabad’s F-11 space.
Minister for Interior Sheikh Rasheed, taking discover of the incident, has ordered the Inspector General of Police to conduct a probe.
