Seventeen die when lightning strikes marriage ceremony occasion in Bangladesh


At least 17 individuals had been killed and greater than a dozen injured on Wednesday when lightning struck a marriage occasion on a ship in northwestern Bangladesh, officers stated.

The lightning hit because the boat reached the financial institution of the Padma river in Shibganj city because the wedding-goers made their approach to the bride’s home, police official Farid Hossain stated.

“We have information of 17 people who died and several others were admitted to hospital,” Hossain stated.
