Shelling and airstrikes on a vegetable market in Omarman area of Sudan killed 56 people and injured hundreds.
According to Al Jazeera’s report, the Sudan Ministry of Health said that the Parameli Rapid Support Force (RSF) attacked the vegetable market on Saturday, killing 56 people and injuring more than 158 people.
Sudan government spokesman and Minister of Culture Khalid al -Alasar condemned the attack, saying that the victims included women and children and the attack has caused widespread destruction.
The Minister of Culture and the spokesperson said in the statement that another bloodshed incident has increased in the criminal record of the paralysis force and is a open violation of international law.
Eyewitnesses said that the artillery shelling on the vegetable market was taking place from Mugri Omdurman, where the IRSF is still in control and they also have drones.
A citizen in southern Omdurman said that the RSF fired heavy firing in the streets, and more, artillery shells and rockets were also falling.
The survivor of the attack said that the shell was coming to the center of the vegetable market, which is why the number of casualties and injuries was very high.
