Sima Haider, who left her husband in Pakistan for love marriage, has also been subjected to aggressive measures taken by the central government of India after the Pahalgam incident and ordered to leave India for 3 days.
India Today reports that after the Pahalgam incident, the central government of India has issued orders to all those with citizenship of Pakistan to leave the country before the end of April.
Sima Haider’s lawyer, AP Singh, is hopeful that despite the aggressive behavior found in India, his client will be allowed to stay in India and took the stand that Sima Haider is not a citizen of Pakistan.
AP Singh said that Sima is not a citizen of Pakistan, she has married Sachin Mina and is living in Greater Noida and recently she has a daughter, which is named Indian Mina.
She said that the woman’s citizenship is now affiliated with her Indian husband and that is why the central government’s orders should not apply to them.
The lawyer said that the orders of the center are only for those who still have citizenship of Pakistan.
He said that Sima is in India and she is a citizen of India, a woman’s citizenship is in accordance with her husband’s citizenship after marriage and her case is different from others as it is already under investigation at the Anti -Terrorism Squad (ATS).
AP Singh said, “I have also given a request to the President of India through him. He is currently free on bail and he fulfills all the terms of Jiyar Kot, which includes not staying with his father -in -law in the Greater Noida area of Rabupura.
The lawyer said that in the birth certificate issued by the Uttar Pradesh government, his name is named as Sima Mina as a mother and Sachin Mina father, which makes it even more clear that he is part of the Indian society.
It may be recalled that Sima Haider had allegedly arrived in Nepal India from Sindh province while she was married in Pakistan and was the mother of 4 children.
Semar Haider is currently based in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, along with her Indian husband Sachin.
It is pertinent to mention that after the incident in Pahalgam area of occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the central government of India had announced to cancel the ongoing visas to Pakistani nationals, along with other announcements.
The decision was taken at a Cabinet Committee on Security meeting chaired by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Later, the Indian Foreign Ministry also announced that visas issued to Pakistani nationals are being canceled and that it will be applicable from April 27 and as well as medical -based visas will be useful by April 29.
The Indian Foreign Ministry had said that all Pakistanis present in India have been issued instructions to leave the country before the visas are over.
