Terming the HEC’s move an “attack” on provincial sovereignty, Adviser to Chief Minister on Universities and Boards Nisar Khuhro on Wednesday introduced that the entire two-year diploma programmes would proceed in Sindh.
“All the universities of Sindh will continue the two-year degree programmes via the provincial autonomy under the universities act,” Khuhro stated.
The adviser stated that at occasions the federal authorities robs the precise of the scholars by means of the Pakistan Medical Commission and generally it assaults the provincial autonomy by means of its techniques.
The adviser stated the HEC’s current measures, together with the affiliate diploma programme and PhD coverage, would deprive the center and lower-middle-class of upper training on a big scale.
