KHARTOUM:
The rebel military group Rapid Support Force (RSF) attacked a market in Sudan’s Um Durman, killing 54 people and injuring 158.
According to foreign media, the RSF attacked the market with ammunition, after which chaos spread in the area.
The incident happened a week later, when a drone was attacked by an RSF hospital in the Darfur area of Sudan, killing 70 people. The attacks are also being blamed on the rebel military group RSF.
Bloody clashes between the Sudanese army and the RSF have been underway in Sudan since April 2023, resulting in the loss of thousands of people.
