The Supreme Court has fixed the petitions against the 26th constitutional amendment for hearing, the eight-member constitutional bench of the Supreme Court will hear on January 27.
According to Express News, the big news came out from the Supreme Court, the petitions against the 26th constitutional amendment were set for hearing.
According to reports, the Constitutional Bench headed by Justice Aminuddin Khan will hold a hearing on January 27.
Justice Jamal Khan Mandukhel, Justice Mohammad Ali Mazhar, Justice Ayesha Malik, Justice Hassan Azhar Rizvi, Justice Musrat Hilali, Justice Naeem Akhtar Afghan, Justice Shahid Bilal Hassan are also part of the eight-member constitutional bench.
The hearing of the case will be held on January 27 at 9:30 am.
Military courts case also scheduled for hearing
Meanwhile, the Supreme Court has fixed the Military Courts case for hearing on January 28, a seven-member constitutional bench headed by Justice Aminuddin Khan will conduct the hearing.
According to the sources, the lawyers were informed by the Supreme Court office through SMS.
Matter of Jurisdiction of Constitution Bench and Regular Bench
In the matter of show cause notice against the Registrar Judicial for not appointing the case for hearing in the matter of jurisdiction of the Supreme Court/Constitution Bench and the Regular Bench, a cause list was issued on the website of the Supreme Court.
A two-member bench comprising Justice Mansoor Ali Shah and Justice Aqeel Abbasi will hear the matter.
A three-member bench comprising Justice Mansoor Ali Shah, Justice Ayesha Malik and Justice Aqeel Abbasi held the hearing today.
