Shah Jahan was the fourth Mughal emperor. He is known as the “Architect King” in the history of India. Shah Jahan’s father Jahangir was a lover. Jahan’s original name was Mehrul-Nisaa, she belonged to Iran and was the most beautiful woman of her time. Before becoming a part of Jahangir’s harem, she was the Begum of the Mughal Governor of Bengal Shirafgan and the mother of his daughter Bano Begum. Bano Bazar of Lahore was built in the name of Noor Jahan’s daughter. Shehzadi Bano was also raised in the Mughal Palace. Noor Jahan married her to his stepson Shehryar. He was the youngest son of Jahangir. Third Nambartha’ Noor Jahan wanted to make her son-in-law Shahryarku the king and she lobbied day and night for it’ Jahangir was under the influence of his wife.
One of his sayings was famous throughout the country, “A bowl of wine, a half-cooked roast and the sight of light are enough for the emperor of India.” Khurram, but he did not have the courage to deny it in front of the Begum, so the matter of the crown prince and the next king got confused. When the situation became more alarming, one day the king announced the examination of the princes in the public court. The decision was to be made after this test. ‘Darbar Laga’, the four princes stood in front of the king and the elders of the city sat down.
The king asked only one question to the princes, “If you get the throne of India, how will you take care of this empire?” The three princes claimed that we will take care of India like a mother, but when it was Prince Khurram’s turn. When she came, she very politely said, “King Salamat, if I get the government, I will love India like a lover.” This claim was out of the ordinary, so the king ordered him to explain. Prince Khurram replied. Love for beloved is the only love in the world in which a person can take and give life to others, so I will give and take my life to save, build and beautify India like Mehbooba. Both the king and the people liked it and thus Prince Khurram was nominated as the next king of India. Jahangir died on October 29, 1627 at Bhimbar in Azad Kashmir while on his way to Kashmir from Kabul.
Alcohol had consumed his liver. The body of the king was to be taken to Agra, but the journey was long and the weather was bad. “There was a beautiful garden in Shah Dara, on the outskirts of Lahore.” With the permission of Queen Noor Jahan, the king was buried there. Prince Khurram was away from Agra at that time. Taking advantage of the absence, made Shehryar the king. Prince Khurram immediately reached the capital, arrested Shehryar, beheaded him and took the throne of India. Noor Jahan later died on 17th December 1645 in Shah Dara and was also buried there.
Prince Khurram started the government in 1628 in the name of Shah Jahan. Shah Jahan was indeed a benefactor of India and he really cared for India like a beloved. He built gardens, palaces and mosques all over the country. Look at any important building in India from 1628 to 1658, you will find footprints of Shah Jahan in it. The piece of land that fell on his eyes became a masterpiece – Delhi’s Jama Masjid is also one of them – Shah Jahan brought it back to Delhi from Agra, the capital.
He settled a separate city in his own name, Shah Jahanabad, at a little distance from the city, and in this city he built the largest mosque in India with red stones in 1656. It exists in ‘Shah Jahan appointed Syed Abdul Ghaffar Bukhari as its first Imam’ Mughal emperors kept changing but the Shahi Mosque remained and so did the series of Bukhari Imams. In the capital of India, it remained with its charm. Today, Syed Ahmed Bukhari is the imam of the Shahi Masjid.
Last Friday, while giving this sermon, he cried while mentioning the situation of Indian Muslims. He said that after 1857, bad times came for the Muslims of India and then it did not go away. and after that Syed Ahmed Bukhari started crying. There were four to five thousand worshipers in the Shahi Masjid at that time. Tears also came to his eyes. I am sure that the moisture of Imam Syed Ahmad Bukhari’s tears and sighs would have reached him and in his grave he would also have felt how the worshipers of my mosque and the people of my lineage are being treated in my kingdom. Is it?
I agreed to go to Delhi in 2014. I also went to Shahi Masjid. There are Muslim houses and shops around the mosque. Believe me, their condition. Tears came to my eyes when I saw it. Sardar Sahib knew all three languages, Urdu, Punjabi and Pashto. When I asked him the reason for the nicknames of Muslims, he gave a strange answer. He said that Muslims do not consider themselves safe in India. They also take common names from which their religion cannot be guessed. If they tell their name as Muhammad, they will be caught, so they call each other Memo. Similarly, here Omar Amar, Jahangir Gero and Zainab. It becomes Zeno. Believe me, after that I kept watching the Muslims walking in the street for a long time and lamenting their idleness. I also met Imam Sahib after that. He stood holding my hand.
He said, “You people are lucky, at least you are walking around fearlessly, while look at us, we can’t go out of our homes.” Imam Sahib was right because India was developing economically, but Muslims The situation was going from bad to worse. Today the situation is even worse than in 2014. There are no jobs for Muslims. Admission to schools is not available and if available Hindu boys drive them away by disrespecting them and the doors of politics are also closed to them. There was still room for Muslims in Congress, but there is not a single Muslim MP in BJP, so then only three fields for Muslims in India. are saved.
It is cleanliness, labor, mechanics, farming or driving, secondly, they were consumed in the film industry, in the past, Muslims had a place in Urdu language, poetry, music and acting, but since cinema shifted to the South, it The field also went out of the hands of the Muslims and the third profession or branch of crime was left for the Muslims so they had no option but to become dons or brothers for survival. Why do Muslims meet around? Because Muslims have no other option.
When their girls are taken away by Hindus or any youth is publicly killed for eating beef or mosques are demolished and converted into temples or Muslims are publicly called Tughlaq or terrorists. If so, what option do they have? And this is what is happening in India at the moment. One of our former army chiefs was stopped by an Indian Muslim in Europe and said, “Sir, when you do something in Kashmir, the Muslims of India have to bear the consequences.” Before doing this, we must think about 25 crore Muslims.” This poor man was 100% correct. “We are all living in a controlled and better environment while Indian Muslims are living a miserable life.” Also in the shadow of the mosque built by Shah Jahan are not safe.
