Islamabad:
The government has set a strategy on the issue of imposing 29 percent of the US tariff on Pakistani products, the Prime Minister formed a high level steering committee and a working group.
According to sources, Finance Minister Mohammad Aurangzeb will be the convenor of the 12 -member steering committee, talks with the United States will be held on the issue of additional tariffs, Secretary of Commerce Jawad Pal has been appointed as the convenor of the working group.
The steering committee will oversee the working group set up on the tariff issue; the 19 -member working group also includes relevant secretaries, businessmen.
The Finance Minister will present all the details at the press conference tomorrow and the details of the impact on the Pakistani economy.
