Terrorism, Big Challenge – Express Urdu

Pakistan faces some major challenges in national development. Various strategies are adopted at the government level to tackle these challenges, but still not getting better results. One of the main reasons is that we either have no real understanding of the problems or we are not ready to do anything despite these problems.

Although we are facing various issues in the context of political, administrative, economic, governance and security, the report of the Global Terrorism Index 2025 has suggested that it take military, social and economic measures to tackle terrorism.

According to the report, if Pakistan does not wake up on time to tackle the current threat of terrorism, dreams of economic recovery and national harmony can be a thief. Similarly, an effective counter -terrorism strategy must be developed to focus on dynamic strategies and long -term goals.

This report of the Global Terrorism Index also focuses on determining our national priorities and, along with the issues of our internal politics, also indicates dissatisfaction with regional politics, especially in relations with Afghanistan and India, and the consequent terrorist crisis. There is no doubt about terrorism and terrorism.

We do not need to look at the problems of terrorism in political isolation, but it will be in our state interest to adopt effective strategies in a major national and regional framework. The biggest manner that terrorists are challenging the writ and institutions of the state of Pakistan is also a matter of concern for us in 2024. 99 attacks have been encountered. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan are the most affected parts of the country, with 96 % of terrorist attacks, which is certainly a major challenge.

Basically, such global reports show that security conditions in Pakistan are complex and serious. These issues are raised on different types of questions that are presented at the internal and external levels of Pakistan. One of the major reasons for not being in our internal level is the process of political decision -making and we are stuck in internal politics.

Although our rulers are in the right direction that we are in the right direction politically and economically, we have begun our journey towards development. They say that terrorism has also been overcome to a great extent and in the coming days, terrorism will be eliminated at all levels and there will be no realization of our political issues. Strategies are being adopted. It lacks consensus. The political leadership of Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa stands in different places than the government to tackle terrorism.

This is the reason why the national consensus we need to tackle the war on terror faces many political difficulties. Afghanistan is constantly a headache for us and a major fabric of the terror that is happening in Pakistan is practically connected to Afghanistan. But the support we needed in relation to TTP from Afghanistan is not getting. A good development has happened in recent times.

It is the right of every political party to do politics and despite all the differences, the policy of keeping the political parties out of politics should be avoided at all levels. Similarly, the political parties have to keep in mind that their politics is more important but the state’s interest is more important, so political parties should not be ruled.

In order to tackle terrorism, we have to take political or non -political parties in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. They have to talk to them.

When we say that we are facing extraordinary conditions in the context of the war on terror, then our strategy should also be based on extraordinary measures. In the regional situation, our affairs with India, including Afghanistan, should move forward. Improving relations with India and Afghanistan can be possible only if these two countries also try to understand Pakistan’s problems and improve relations. Because the improving better relations with regional countries is not limited to these countries, but its overall impact on the region’s politics.
