Police arrested the accused who picked up the child from the hospital with the help of Safe City cameras.
According to Safe Cities spokesperson, the accused who picked up the child from the hospital has been arrested. With the help of Gujranwala Safe City cameras, the child was recovered within a few hours. The child’s father had lodged a complaint that an unknown person had abducted the child from the hospital.
On receiving the complaint, the police started searching for the accused from the footage of Safe City cameras and tracked the accused. According to the spokesman, the accused on the bike was seen passing by the newborn on the cameras, on which all the video evidences were shared with the concerned police, on which the accused was arrested by taking immediate action.
The police handed over the newborn safely to the father after a few hours of search.
