The charity of Khawaja Muhammad Rafiq Shaheed is ongoing

Shaykh Ibrahim Zauk’s lamp could not be compared to Ghalib’s, but he has also said a poem that is loved

If the name is approved, it becomes the means of Faiz
Make a bridge, make a wish. A mosque and a pond were built

This poem would not have been remembered if Khwaja Muhammad Rafiq, the worthy son of Shaheed, brother, honorable Khwaja Saad Rafiq and Khwaja Salman Rafiq Faiz, had not created some reasons. Who was Khawaja Muhammad Rafiq? I asked this question today from a few journalists, some of them also host programs in major channels and have an enviable following on social media. Our new generation, which identifies itself with the epithet Gen.Z, rolls its eyes at such questions and shrugs: ‘Weird.’

After going through this strange experience, I felt sad and remembered my childhood. I belong to a middle-class landowning family who made their mark through landholding as well as knowledge and skills.

My father late Hakeem Ghulam Hussain Adil was an ideological person who had a clear political vision and used to educate his family especially children through discussions at home. It seems that it was winter when he entered the house one day and quietly reclined on his seat. The mother was worried and asked that she is fine. He remained silent for some time as if trying to control his emotions and then said:

“Khwaja Muhammad Rafiq was martyred today.”

We people were not ‘Jin Zee’ who would have started our work by saying hundred words. So I asked who is Khawaja Mohammad Rafiq? In response, he introduced the martyr in detail. Who was Khawaja Sahib and what was he? I don’t remember the full details of what my late father told me, but the impression has been solidified that he can be counted among such political workers and leaders who always listened to the voice of their conscience. Strengthened the opposition. Abaji said that he was targeted and martyred during a protest for raising a voice of protest against the behavior of the oppressive government of his time.

The elder brother Malik Muhammad Moazzam had once said that the commotion was so intense that day and tear gas shells and bullets were being fired so mercilessly that the surrounding buildings i.e. Faisal Chowk (Charing Cross) were not affected. can A shell tore down a ship-sized billboard of the daily ‘Fyfaq’. In 1983, when I was a young student, I went to Lahore and specifically reached the Shah Din Building to see this hole of about four inches in diameter. Thus the Shah Din Building, the perforated board and Faisal Chowk became for me a metaphor for Khwaja Muhammad Rafiq, while Khwaja Muhammad Rafiq became for me a metaphor for dissent and courageous political resistance.

About eight to ten years after the martyrdom of Khawaja Sahib, a son of Khawaja Sahib Shaheed participated in the Saturday students of Anbala Muslim College. It was an honor for me to sit and chat with him. Khushbu Aati also remembers my father Grami, who from childhood gave me a clear political outlook and taught me that every political worker who struggles is worthy of respect.

The year is 1996. Muslim League-N was in opposition those days. Mian Nawaz Sharif decided that his party should strengthen its base in Sindh as well. The late Abdul Hameed Sheikh and some other Muslim League workers had sacrificed their lives during that time, for which a case of treason was also filed against Hameed Sheikh. At the same time, the top leadership of PML-N visited the dimensions of Sindh and Balochistan. Makhdoom Javed Hashmi, Raja Nader Pervez and Khawaja Saad Rafiq were among these leaders.

Due to the same age, during this visit I spent most of my time in the company of Khawaja Sahib. This way we got more opportunity to know each other. On this occasion, I mentioned his participation in the Anbala Muslim College debate, which he confirmed.

December 20 is the martyrdom day of Khawaja Sahib’s father, Khawaja Muhammad Rafiq. They organize a function every year on this occasion. This event has become a tradition of a gathering of political activists which fulfills the mentioned poem of Sheikh Ibrahim Zouk. Bridges, mosques and ponds are not the only sources of blessings, gatherings that are a source of contemplation and wider consultation also do the same.

The Khawaja brothers have made the anniversary of their father Jalil-ul-Qadr a place for political activists to meet and think about national issues, but a kind of charity is still going on, the reward of which will not only be given to the martyr but also to his worthy descendants. She will also benefit from it in this way that she will continue to follow the right path with full courage like her father and will do good for the nation.

This year’s meeting on the anniversary of Khawaja Sahib Shaheed will be especially remembered in our current political environment because it has brought out some proposals in relation to the solution of national problems which, if implemented, will change many aspects of our political life. Azar will go away.

Rana Sanaullah proposed on this occasion that Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, President Asif Ali Zardari and Imran Khan should hold direct talks, in this way the problems of Pakistan in the past seventy years will be solved as well. The basis of Rana Sahib’s proposal was Khawaja Saad Rafiq’s proposal in which he proposed negotiations between the senior political leadership. The names of Maulana Fazlur Rahman, Hafiz Naeemur Rahman, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and some other leaders were included in these leaders.

In our current political climate, this proposal of Rana Sahib is a big step, if it is implemented, there is no doubt that it will be a big breakthrough. This statement of Rana Sahib does not only mean that PML-N has accepted PTI as a political reality but also that Mian Sahib himself wants grand talks.

The proposal coming from Rana Sahib is not only from him but from Mian Sahab himself. Imran Khan is willing to negotiate, he has also admitted that the government of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has succeeded in restoring the economy. This development is encouraging. Now, if the founders of PTI show more patience and agree to this proposal, then the fact is that Pakistan will come out of the quagmire of its problems, God willing.

Mumtaz Mufti’s wife

Mumtaz Mufti is a legend. There is consensus in the entire Urdu world on a few things about him. One is that he fictionalized the world-renowned method of treating mental illnesses called psychoanalysis. Thus, Urdu fiction has given such a prominent place in world fiction that it has no rival. His second major achievement in fiction is to create rarity in the subject of women. Before Mufti Sahib’s fiction, women in Urdu have been treated either as prostitutes or as a woman who has fallen from the heights of humanity and can only be pitied.

Mumtaz Mufti took a new path in this tradition, making woman her role as a human being. Thus, woman got a dignified place in Urdu fiction. Syed Muhammad Ali is a well-known and well-known figure in the literary circles of Islamabad, whose book titled ‘Mumtaz Mufti Ki Aurat’ has recently been published, in which this aspect of Urdu fiction has been discussed. Syed Muhammad Ali has said that we have resorted to western ideas to understand women here.

It was this mistake that made the woman a mystery here. Syed Muhammad Ali says that if Mumtaz Mufti is studied seriously, it is known that she presents the concept of a woman who irrigates humanity with her blood, provides a foundation for the family and unites a fragmented society. is Syed Muhammad Ali has made a valuable contribution to the study of Mumtaz Mufti, which will be warmly welcomed.
