The Constitutional Court annulled the decision against the appointment of King Edward University Vice-Chancellor

The Federal Constitutional Court has annulled the decision of the High Court against the appointment of King Edward University Vice Chancellor.

According to the details, regarding this case, the Constitutional Court said that the present case was not scheduled for hearing in the Supreme Court for 8 years after it was filed.

The Lahore High Court had canceled the appointment of King Edward University Vice Chancellor Asad Aslam.

Petitioner Iftikhar Ahmed had challenged the appointment of the Vice-Chancellor of King Edward University while no one appeared during the trial.

The Constitutional Court further said that if any party is affected by the court order, he can file an application.
