Additional Sessions Judge Peshawar Abdul Qayyum Siddiqui has ordered to file a case against Nur Alam Khan, a member of the Jamiat Ulema -e -Islam Pakistan, on interference in the government.

According to Express News, petitioner Assistant Engineer (G) SS & TL PESCO filed a petition in Sessions Court Peshawar through Mian Emad Khan Advocate and took the stand that on August 31, 2024, Member of the National Assembly Noor Alam Khan, Sakhi Chashma Grid Station. I forcibly entered and inaugurated a new grid station and intervened in the car government.

The petitioner said that in the respective police station, the National Assembly filed a petition against Noor Alam Khan but the police did not take any action while the Member of the National Assembly tried to disrupt the applicant’s office. Due to which PESCO suffered heavy damage.

The petitioner had approached the Sessions Court under 22A for not taking legal action against the Member Assembly.

The court approved the petitioner’s 22A’s request for completion of the arguments and ordered the SHO police station Machni Gate to file a case against Member National Assembly Noor Alam Khan.

The court ruled that if the applicant’s report proved to be false during the interrogation, it should also be prosecuted under section 182.
