Peshawar: Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur has said that NAB institution is promoting corruption, NAB is being used and what will happen when the institution is used? Corruption will increase.
Addressing the event organized on the occasion of Anti-Corruption Day, he said that we condemn corruption but we are a part of this corruption. Why is corruption not being eradicated from the society despite the passage of so many years? We did not fix ourselves, we did not hold ourselves accountable, the day we stop ourselves from corruption, the day corruption will end.
He said that we have to work on the grassroots to end corruption, we do corruption for ourselves or for our children, corruption will not end until the corrupt people are punished.
The Chief Minister said that I cannot doubt anyone’s intention or thinking, Islam has forbidden to speak wrongly against anyone, here everyone is talking but nothing on the ground, we have to start accountability from ourselves. We could not practice it because of our environment.
He said that we do corruption for money, but money cannot buy peace and blessings. When I won the election, my mother was diagnosed with cancer. I was going to become the chief minister when my mother died. I was ready to sell all the property but the cancer was in the last stage and I could not do anything that means the money is useless.
He said that nothing will be right until I am well myself, if I want to become a paradise, then Iman must be strengthened, what is in our destiny, no one can take it away and what is not in my destiny, no one can give it.
He said that people are praying and mixing, they are sure that they will go to heaven, there will be great people in heaven, they say that jobs are sold, who is buying them? You, you will stop buying and selling, people are increasing the numbers of children by feeding money in the board, and they are attracting evil to their own generation. Both are hellish.
The Chief Minister has said that what wrong have you done that you had to pay a bribe? If you are giving money for a job, then you are giving money to eat someone’s right. A mother raised by corruption money is not a mother who has paradise under her feet.
He said that we are not giving money to Patwari for good work but for wrong work, until my mother and wife ask me where this money is coming from, the society will not be fine. To prepare parents who ask children questions about where the money is coming from.
He said that NAB has a scope of what it is doing, it is promoting corruption, NAB is being used, what will happen when the institutions are used? If my power will be misused then it is mental retardation, why my officers are not denying me that it is wrong? Temporarily powerful person can use you not permanently, we have to get out of this slavery thinking then society will be better.
