The federal government has announced a public holiday on December 25 on the occasion of Quaid-e-Azam Day, after which Bank Daulat Pakistan (State Bank) has also announced a public holiday on December 25, 2024 (Wednesday) on the occasion of Quaid-e-Azam Day and Christmas. has been announced.

In a statement released by the State Bank, it has been said that Bank Daulat-e-Pakistan will remain closed on December 25, 2024 (Wednesday) due to public holidays on the occasion of Quaid-i-Azam and Christmas as per the announcement of the Government of Pakistan.

It should be noted that other banks and financial institutions will also remain closed on December 25 due to the declaration of a holiday by the Central Bank.

Quaid-e-Azam Day is celebrated across the country on 25th December. Similarly, Pakistanis abroad also organize various ceremonies and seminars on the occasion of this day, in which tributes are paid to the heroic leadership and efforts of the father of the nation regarding the establishment of Pakistan.

Similarly, on December 25, the Christian community also celebrates the festival of Christmas.

A few days ago, the Sindh government also announced a public holiday on December 25 on the occasion of the birth anniversary of the father of the nation, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. Apart from this, the Sindh government has also announced a public holiday on December 27 in connection with the death anniversary of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, under which all government and semi-government institutions across the province will be closed, while banks and other private institutions will remain open.
