Islamabad:
Chairman People’s Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that the government is creating problems for itself by taking decisions without consulting the allies.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari while addressing the ceremony in the federal capital said that the struggle of Pakistan People’s Party with the workers spans three generations. The People’s Party, the workers and the workers together brought the constitution to the country, the workers of this country stood side by side with the leader of the people and struggled to take away their rights and for the first time the workers of the country got the rights that the whole world believes to be They have the right.
Bilawal Bhutto said that after that Benazir Bhutto fought together with the workers, she was a poor girl who stood against the dictatorship because her labor brothers were standing behind. We not only fought for the country’s freedom, democracy and human rights in this era, whether it was the era of the dictator General Musharraf or the era of General Zia, which were conspiracies against the workers, even then the PP and the workers met. He foiled these conspiracies.
He said that wherever the People’s Party got an opportunity, whether at the federal or provincial level, we always pushed forward the workers’ agenda. People’s Party gave the first labor policy to the country. We also increased salaries and pensions. We believe that our economic system can run if the workers are rewarded for their hard work.
In his address, Bilawal further said that there is no such system in the world where the government can run without the will of the people. Whether you hold an election or not, whether you are a prime minister, a president, a king or Amirul Momineen, all systems are governed by the will of their people. The policies of every system are made according to the wishes and hopes of the people. And when the rulers in any system start to follow their own will or move away from the wishes and will of the people, the entire system collapses.
He said that even today in the current situation of Pakistan, sometimes the government unnecessarily creates more problems for itself. When they make unilateral policies, decisions are made without dialogue and communication, it becomes difficult to implement these decisions. When you make decisions together, by consensus, by the will of the people, it is easier to implement those decisions and those decisions are successful.
Bilawal said that Quaid-e-Awam Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto gave us this Islamic democratic federal system even though he had the majority, on the basis of which he would have given the constitution of his choice, given the policy of his choice, and if he had done so, till today. The prevailing consensus is that it would not have happened.
He said that today they don’t have that much of a majority, in parliament or anywhere, and sometimes from time to time the government makes policy as if they have a two-thirds majority. We suggest that if the policy is made with the consensus of the elected representatives, it will be better for the parliament and the country, but the opposition is far from the policies that are being made. Policies run better, more successful.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that we do not believe in politics of hatred, politics of division. We believe in the politics of issues and at present the politics of Pakistan is unfortunately running in a way other than issues.
