The High Power Selection Board promoted a total of thirty -six officers of Pakistan Administrative Service, Police Service and Foreign Service in Grade 22.
The Board will sit back on Monday to review the promotion of other groups officers due to the Islamabad High Court’s ruling on the development of FBR officers.
The Federal Bureaucrats’ meeting of the High Power Selection Board to develop in Grade 22 was chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar in the Cabinet Division.
Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari also attended the meeting as a member.
The High Power Selection Board meeting considered the names of more than 150 officers for the development of grade 22 posts, the board approved the promotion of 19 of the Pakistan Administrative Service, 8 of the Police Service and 9 of the Foreign Service in Grade 22.
Among the officers who were developed in Grade Twenty -two of the Pakistan Administrative Service include Mohiuddin Ahmed Wani, Wasim Ajmal Chaudhry, Ambrin Raza, Ali Tahir, Usman Akhtar Bajwa, Mohammad Hameer Karim, Syed Ataur Rehman, Mushtaq Ahmad Khan, Rashid Mahmood, Momin Aghaz, Nadeem Mohd, Nadeem Mohd, Mohd, Mohd. Zahid Akhtarman, Nabil Ahmed Awan and Ahmad Razir.
The officers who were promoted to the Grade Twenty -two of the Police Service include BA Nasir, Ghulam Nabi Memon, Farooq Mazhar, Imran Yaqub Minhas, Abdul Khaliq Sheikh, Shahzad Sultan, Zubair Hashmi and Mohammad Tahir Rai. Saeed Sheikh, Syed Ahsan Raza Shah, Ambassador of Pakistan Faisal Niazatrazi, Nabil Munir, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Germany Saqlain Syeda and Foreign Office Shafqat Ali Khan are included.
The notification of the developed officers will be made in a half day.
Due to the other engagements of Ishaq Dar and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the promotions of all officers could not be reviewed, five of the Secretariat Group, five of the Inland Revenue Service, two of the audit and accounts, the names of the officers on Monday for promotions on the post of the Information Group and a Postal Group.
According to sources, after the affidavit is submitted to the Islamabad High Court, the issue of promotions of FBR officers will also be considered if the order is canceled.
Earlier, the Prime Minister amended the Rules and for the first time to head the High Power Selection Board, assigned to Prime Minister Ishaq Dar while Bilawal Bhutto Zardari also attended the High Power Selection Board for the first time.
